Year End Summary 2019

Page views declined by 20%, probably because the post count declined to 30 new articles. Six and more years ago, we were publishing more than 200 articles per year. But health problems and a change in emphasis led to the decline. Moreover, the focus has shifted to private and personal instructions to prepare for the future Tradition. 2020 will focus more on the those characteristics of Tradition that will be applicable to that task.

Hello,

Any chance you’re still hosting weekly discussions? I may have already contacted regarding this (or I may have not; it’s difficult to recollect), but I just saw that in the Study Group section, it only says 2018. Perhaps I was mistaken, or…?

Good to see Finland on the list! I might be one reason for it, since I check Gornahoor daily, many times a few times a day since I love to read old articles.

I have been round to many places on the internet and have read many conflicting opinions (which I suppose could be reduced to variations of about 4-5 in total) and over time I’ve come to the conclusion that people can’t even form proper logical fallacies in their heads anymore, to speak nothing of arguments. When everybody tries so hard to put forward a self-evident truism or tautology of some form or another, to encounter a viewpoint that could be accepted or denied on the grounds of its own merit alone is a rare instance indeed.

Despite my new year’s resolution to always deliver some scathing words of critique in response to whatever I allow myself to be influenced by, lest I blindly accept it to be the truth, I can’t bring myself to do so at the moment. It’s better to keep your mouth shut so that everyone will think you’re an idiot, than to open it so that somebody might actually believe that you’re not. And then you will have to go to their house, meet their parents and tell them what you do for a living, which I’m pretty sure wasn’t your original intent.

Although I fear that by this point you might find this perfunctory attempt at positive feedback revolting to the core, I would nonetheless like to express my earnest desire to see the nascent year pass in the most propitious manner, for both yourself, the author of this invaluable resource and us the readers, who make what best use of it as they can.
